the Musée du Mali has an incredible textile exhibit, showing the history of bogolan (mudcloth) and many other traditions.

After three weeks of hiking in Dogon, we ate a pizza here. I've never had a pizza that tasted so good... This is "place m'as tu vu" in Bamako. Same owners as the shop across the street. Not cheap, but worth every CFA...

This is the Peace Monument. The Martyrs Monument is near the old bridge. This one is near the new bridge. The photo is correct except it cuts off the top of the monument.
